Join CHAC as they kick off the newest series of First Fridays. CHAC First Friday in Northside features Tony Ankele, Angela Ramirez, Georgia Mucill, and Fred Jarado. We are partnering with Hourglass Hair Studio, CHAC is bringing art into small businesses as a way to support local artists and small businesses. First Friday in the Northside is curated by long-time CHAC artist Lucille Rivera.
Tony Ankele - Creating works that will take the viewer on a journey through fantasy, realisms and impressionistic creations that are created in mind or influenced by nature and the environments that I have been exposed to.
Angela Ramirez - Has always had an interest in costumes or regalia, whether used in ceremonies or in theater. She has experimented with incorporating colored pencil drawings with acrylic paintings and also doing collages with phone book pages . She has tried to make Art that reflects her background, experience, and heritage. Art has been her lifelong passion.
Georgia Mucill - Is a Colorado native raised in North Denver now called the Highlands. Her daughter and her family live in the Highlands, and enjoy reliving her memories as she travels the streets making new ones. She is an RN and practiced for 25 years, having retired due to back surgery Her biggest loves in life are family and friends and hopes you enjoy her paintings as much as she enjoyed painting them.
Fred Domingo - Jurado, his father was an Artist and instilled and helped to develop talents as he was growing up to his siblings and himself. His father also started a Silk Screen Printing Business that he worked in and ran. They did a lot of Art Reproduction for some local and Internationally known Artists as well as Commercial Prototype and Pont of Purchase Print Medium. He recognized what was coming through our shop and decided to do his own Artwork and in the early 80s he opened a Gallery in Georgetown, Co. “Graphics West Exclusively with his own works. It was a very Enlightening experience for him and he learned a lot about that end of the business.
