President Barack Obama returns to Denver as part of his American Jobs Act bus tour a month after visiting Abraham Lincoln High School. Obama came into town yesterday for two private fundraising events at the Pepsi Center. Today, the president will speak at the Auraria Campus Event Center to an audience of faculty, staff and students from the Auraria Campus (Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver) and the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus.
