WORDS TO LIVE BY
“You can do anything you put your mind to.”
Garcia’s volunteer work comes primarily from his involvement with the Hispanic Club and Community Vision Club. He provides tutoring to middle school students and serves as a teacher’s assistant. The school organizations he is involved in are looking to reach out more to the community. “It helps you on various aspects such as getting more involved and seeing more of the outside world. You also help others and it’s good to know and help out youth and the people in your community,” Garcia said about volunteering.
IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD . . .
“I would find a better way to help people realize the importance of being involved and not being afraid to put themselves out there.”
