PROFILE
Deven DelReal is a senior at Northglenn High School. He has been featured in the school’s Honor Roll and received High Honors. He is a member of the National Honor Society, DECA and is involved in the CU Pre-Collegiate program. He is also a member of the football, basketball and track teams, works part-time, yet maintains a competitive 3.6 GPA. “While working hard all year long to be a valuable member of a team, (DelReal) has worked equally as hard to make sure his academics remain a priority,” praised his previous math teacher. DelReal is planning to attend the Metropolitan State College of Denver or the University of Colorado Denver.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
DelReal is involved in Friday Nite Youth at Victory Christian Church where he’s participated in bible study for three years. He also volunteered at Trick-or-Treat Street through his school. DelReal spends his time with NYFA, a youth football camp. There, he coaches children in the defensive back position. “I like to help people and just to see a smile on their face; the return is the best thing I can ask for,” DelReal said.

“I would change people’s perception on the way they live life. Some people are so ungrateful that they don’t appreciate what they have.”
