COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Joiner has amassed an impressive more than 100 hours in volunteerism at her church’s nursery. She consistently volunteered at Colorado Christian Fellowship’s nursery during two church services, helping out with changing dippers, serving snacks and participating in activities with toddlers. She is a member of the church choir. Joiner has also served as a mentor to freshmen students as a link leader at her school. Joiner has volunteered at Kids Spree and through Fellowship of Christian Athletes. “I believe that we are each given a gift and we should use those gifts to give back to the community to help others.”

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD . . .

“I would continue fundraising money to make blankets to donate to the Denver Rescue Mission and make that an annual project.”
