Luevano currently volunteers with Skyview Athletics through an internship assisting an athletic trainer where she is learning how to be a trainer. She has volunteered through the City of Thornton Volunteer Corps where she spent her time playing bingo with elderly at a senior citizens residency, worked at a concessions stand during community events and provided care for children. Being a part of a community,” Luevano said gives you the opportunity to see whom one can “look up to.” She explained that she’d like to see younger generations do the same for her as she has done for senior citizens — spend time with them.
